So many people are linking to this. The true origin is of course NASA. This I’m ashamed to say is from gizmodo (I can’t stand the site generally). Quite amusing that the story is about how he was treated by BA & Heathrow staff at T5 due to the “panic” that set in regarding the snow. I have to say that JFK or LAX staff/services aren’t exactly charming (there are no free luggage trolleys in JFK - you have to pay with a feckin’ credit card and the staff were so unfriendly I thought I was going to end up in Guantanamo as I didn’t agree with their baggage weight system..) but I do have to agree that BA is awful: ”When the guy at JFK’s customs asked me if I had anything to declare, I quoted Dennis Farina in Snatch from the very deep bottom of my heart and soul: “Don’t go to England.” And don’t ever fly British Airways” …and in the comments.. “True. There’s so many more reasons not to go to England than the Airport. Last time I was there my train was delayed 6 hours cause someone loved England so much they decided to lay down on the tracks and give the island a big old hug”
