I love data. There I said it. This is the accumulation of (actually 4 years) data collection, data parsing, late nights and scratching my head deeply.
Basically I collect all NHS Job information relating to “Occupational Therapist” and parse it using some nifty tricks. I now have all sorts of stats on the job market in the UK. If you want anything in particular give me a shout. For a list of all of my various graphs & data sets see here (note: this one is particularly interesting. It goes back to 2007 but look at the difference in results when you search the nhs job system for “Band 5 AND Occupational Therapist”. Result = Don’t search for Band 5)
It will be interesting to see how it pans out over the next year or two. My bet is we will see a bit of a drop.
